St Austell Civic Pride
St Austell Civic Pride project has been awarded a priority 5.5 grant.
The project is focused on St Austell town centre and the key arrival
corridors to the town. It comprises a comprehensive package of works
to improve paving, planting, lighting, building frontages, signs,
seating and ancillary structures in the town centre streets. In
addition the proposals also introduce 'garden gateways' that mark
the transition from the surrounding roads to the main Civic Pride
area. This is phase one of a five phase programme of works to improve
the town centre of St Austell.

Zone
Preventing Exclusions Priority 3.4 project to provide opportunities
for a group of young people with behavioural and emotional problems,
who are in danger of being excluded from mainstream education. The
aim of the project is to deliver a fun learning environment to the
youngsters designed to boost self-esteem, raise aspiration and achievement
and thereby improving their chances of being employable in the future,
and more immediately, to help them fit back into their classroom
environment.
