Latest News
As of October 2002 the Objective One Tourism Task Force has been officially replaced by the Cornwall Tourism Forum, a sustainable public private partnership set up to achieve a step-change in Cornwall’s Tourism industry. The Forum will take on the role of developing the four key objectives identified by the Task Force in their Strategy and will be chaired initially by James Staughton, Managing Director of St Austell Brewery.
The Forum is one part of the £2,643,360 Cornwall Tourism Forum and Destination Marketing Campaign Project. The project has been made possible thanks to a £1,425,000 grant from the Objective One European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), with match funding provided by Cornwall Enterprise, Cornish District Councils, The South West of England Regional Development Agency (SWERDA) and the private sector.
