Objective one deals with projects from a wide range of sectors of the economy of Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. That’s why Task Forces made up of representatives of each sector have been set up to encourage the development of sector strategies and consequent projects that support each sector’s needs.

The Task Force strategies guide investment for their own special interest sectors – farming, fishing, tourism, the arts, heritage, culture, business, education and training, economic inclusion, transport infrastructure, etc – for Objective One and other sources of investment. Each Task Force’s strategy offers inspiration and direction to the sector and provides a backcloth against which the project quality can be measured. Copies of strategies for each Task Force are available on this website.
