CoaST Sustainable Tourism: building on distinction
Cornwall Sustainable Tourism (CoaST) project has been awarded a priority 1.3 grant. This project provides information and guidance to SME's within the tourism sector to increase markets and marketing opportunities, create cost savings and increase competitiveness.

Barncoose Link Road Project
Kerrier District Council has been awarded a priority 2.4 grant. This project is to construct a short (400m) section of road in Redruth to link Barncoose Terrace to Wilson Way to provide alternative access to Barncoose Industrial Estate to open up the estate for development.

Newlyn Art Gallery has been awarded a priority 5.5 grant. This project will provide enhanced gallery spaces and education facilities in which the organisation can extend its programme, attract new and wider audiences for contemporary art, cultural tourism and arts based education work and provide support for artists living and working in Cornwall through increased sales, education opportunities and professional development opportunities.

Bude Canal Regeneration Project
North Cornwall District Council has been awarded a priority 5.2 and 5.5 grant. This project will restore the canal between Falcon Bridge and Helebridge Wharf including environmental improvements; creation of canal walking trails and interpretation and marketing of the canal's heritage. The project will also provide 540sqm of workspace through the provision of nine units on two brown field sites by the Bude canal.

Kensey Foods have been awarded a priority 4.9 and 1.4 grant. The project will allow the business to further expand by constructing new high-care production facilities for a range of dessert products. As a result the applicant will expand sales of existing products, further increase local sourcing of ingredients and create additional employment.

Crantock Bakery
Crantock Bakery have been awarded a priority 1.4 grant to expand production capacity and improve quality of finished product. The company is best known for its handmade pasties but also produces other savoury and sweet lines. Project will lead to a 100% increase in local sourcing due to the need for increased volume and the recently revised local purchasing policy.

Looe Economic Regeneration Scheme
Caradon District Council have been awarded a priority 4.8 grant to revitalise key elements of the Looe conservation area. The project will have the dual benefit of improving the economic potential of the town by bringing unused or under used employment space to full productive use whilst simultaneously upgrading and preserving heritage buildings which contribute to the distinctiveness of the town of Looe and provide a better environment for visitors.
