Jobcentre Plus Co-financing
Programme: The Economic Benefit arising from the Equal Opportunities
Cross Cutting Theme
The Jobcentre Plus Co-financing programme has enabled Jobcentre
Plus to add value to nationally driven mainstream provision
to provide an even more proactive approach to helping people
into work. This programme has provided tailored support for
individuals and employers to help people furthest from the
labour market on the path to training and work.
This report, undertaken by independent consultants,
reviews the equality of opportunity afforded by Jobcentre
Plus Co-financing programme, the economic benefits that have
arisen, and how this good practice is influencing others.
A total of £7.8m from the European Social
Fund was invested in the £18.4m Jobcentre Plus Co-financing
programme.
