Falmouth
CUC Phase 2, University College Falmouth has been awarded
a priority 2.7 grant. This project proposes to undertake a
second phase of capital build at the CUC Hub in Tremough.
The project will be jointly carried out with the University
of Exeter to provide 8107m2 of floor space. The shared space
will provide seminar rooms, Learning Resource facilities ,
administration and social space.

Cornwall College: Chunks 2
Cornwall College has been awarded a priority 3.3 grant. The
aim of the project is to widen participation in higher education
through the promotion, development and delivery of flexible,
higher level, stand alone modules of and full Foundation Degrees.
The project will be targeted at 1500 beneficiaries including
SMEs and their employees and the wider community to include
unemployed people, those wishing to embark on a career change
and those returning to education.

Community Futures Fund Phase 2
Cornwall Enterprise has been awarded a priority 3.4 grant.
This project is a continuation of the Community Futures Fund
which is a global grant scheme for 'local social capital'
projects in the Objective One area of Cornwall and the Isles
of Scilly (excluding Carrick District Council Area). It provides
pre-matched grants up to £6,000 to beneficiaries for
a range of eligible activities which will improve their employability.

Fresh Start Loan Fund
Cornwall Enterprise has been awarded a priority 4.6 grant.
The Fresh Start Loan Fund will be a repayable aid scheme that
is open to tenant farmers and new entrants to the land based
sector. The fund, contracted to SWIG, will be a lender of
last resort to stimulate industry restructuring.

Extended Learner Fund
Cornwall County Council has been awarded a priority 3.8 grant.
This project will extend the current learning support fund,
created to support learners facing financial hardship. In
addition to supporting young people, aged 16+, for the first
time in Cornwall there will now be enough money to support
schoolchildren aged 14-16 who are at risk of dropping out.

Targeted Extended Learner Fund
Cornwall County Council has been awarded a priority 4.2 grant.
This project will use the highly regarded CAT delivery model
to support individuals in Cornwall's targeted wards who wish

NVQs 'Community Mental Health Work' and 'Training for Trainers',
