What are the cross cutting themes?
The three cross cutting themes (CCT) are Equal Opportunities, Environmental Sustainability (including the Historic Environment) and Information Communications Technology.
Why the cross cutting themes?
Incorporating environmental sustainability, equal opportunities and ICT into everything you do can:

provide your organisation with a wealth of opportunities for innovation and business development |

lead to cost savings, increased competitiveness, an expanded client base, improved customer services and marketing advantages |

help you improve employment policies and practices and thus recruit, develop and retain good staff |

improve the economy of Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly for local industry and residents |
What support is available for the cross cutting themes?
Members of the CCT Team can provide FREE help at any stage of project development by:

meeting with applicants to discuss building the cross cutting themes into their projects |
| • |
supplying electronic and hard copy guidance notes |
| • |
signposting to other helpful organisations |
| • |
help in the delivery stage of an Objective One project |
