Business planning service for North
Cornwall
A package of investments has secured the appointment of two
advisers to help small businesses in North Cornwall. The North
Cornwall Business Adviser Project has been set up to provide
the following services available to start-ups and existing
small businesses:

free support to SMEs who do not have either the time
or the ability to write their own business plans/financial
projections |
|
a service to write business plans for SMEs, with under
10 employees, in North Cornwall |
|
training in the development of business plans for SMEs
as well as marketing and financial guidance |
|
Information on finances and funding available through
banks and gateway schemes run by Objective One and other funding
streams |
|
assessments to identify ICT gaps and recommend appropriate
training and courses |
Carleen Kelemen, Director of the Objective One Partnership,
said: "A robust and thorough business plan is essential
for anyone setting up or developing a business. While most
will have the resources and skills for their particular craft,
trade or service they often need the know-how to prepare and
write an effective business plan. With this project, Objective
One investment will enable many small and medium sized North
Cornwall businesses to access these skills and services."

home or in the office.
