Exciting new technology park commences
construction
Plans for a new development consisting of two modern, high
quality offices have been confirmed at Heron Way, Truro.
"This development will contain and promote new technologies,
including aspects of the project from the build itself to
environmental controls within the offices. This is a very
exciting project which we are very pleased to be involved
in,” explains Carl Edwards of Vickery Holman Ltd.
Set in landscaped grounds overlooking Calenick Creek and
the Truro River and open countryside will provide an excellent
environment for the development of new ideas. Sustainability
and environmental quality are key themes to this development
due to the unique location and surroundings.
The development is the vision of a local entrepreneur who
recognized the need for quality office space within Truro.
Objective One investment has helped realise this development.
Truro Technology Park is set to follow the successes of similar
developments such as Tolvaddon Energy Park.
There has been substantial interest in this development already
from potential occupiers and we look forward to announcing
our first confirmed tenant soon.
Building work has now commenced and there is a target completion
date for the first building with an overall internal area
of 415.60 square metres of May 2005. The larger building,
totalling 798.90 square metres should be available by the
end of 2005.
Cober, who are developing Truro Technology Park, add: "We
at Cober are exceptionally pleased to be taking this project
forward with our colleagues PDPGreen consulting engineers
and architects. I believe Truro Technology Park and its setting
say so much about the quality of life and working potential
available in the Capital City of Cornwall, Truro.”
The two buildings comprise 10 office suites ranging in size
from 75 square metres to 275 square metres, the offices can
be combined to provide larger single suites if required. There
will be very generous levels of car parking on the scheme
and all the space will be air-conditioned and have personnel
lifts as standard.
