North Cornwall welcomes Kensey Foods' expansion plan

Cllr Neil Burden, Chair of NCDC's Regeneration Committee, is delighted to hear of the multi-million pound investment of food manufacturers, Kensey Foods, supported by Defra and Objective One. "This is fantastic news for Launceston and North Cornwall. This massive investment in new production and new jobs will give great confidence to the current employees and to all the local service industries which will benefit from the knock-on effect.

"North Cornwall has a cluster of high quality food processing companies based on industrial estates built by the district council. It is gratifying to know that the council’s commitment to economic development over the past thirty years continues to bear fruit.

"We will continue to work closely with funding agencies and local companies to maximise the economic potential of North Cornwall, and promote the district as a fantastic place to live and work.”
