Wildlife launches its own organic clothing brand: Seasalt
Seasalt
organic cottons are grown without the use of chemical pesticides,
and all subsequent processes such as ginning, washing, dying
- even warehousing - have been assessed.
Seasalt is the first fashion brand to have clothing certified
to Soil Association standards - something Wildlife is really
proud of. Almost a quarter of all insecticides used globally
are sprayed on cotton crops. And an amazing 17 teaspoons of
fertiliser go into each conventional T-shirt alone! This is
bad news for land, sea, rivers and people. By choosing to
wear clothing that has been certified by the Soil Association
you can be confident that you are being fair to the environment.
The Objective One Programme for Cornwall and the
Isles of Scilly has invested in Business Link through the
European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the European
Agricultural Guidance and Guarantee Fund (EAGGF). Wildlife
has received investment through a Business Link Objective
One gateway fund.
