Cornwall: Europe's First region of culture. What does
Cornwall mean to you?
We're campaigning to make Cornwall the first ever European
Region of Culture and if the campaign is successful, which
we think it will be, there'll be a year long celebration
of Cornish Culture in 2010 when Cornwall will be the centre
of attention.
Everyone knows there are many different reasons that set
Cornwall apart and there'll be many different aspects
to the bid but to start it off you are invited to express
to the world what Cornwall means to you personally.
Contributions from all ages are welcome, from locals and
visitors alike, throughout May. You could send a simple text
message, paint a picture, write a poem, send a recipe; it's
all up to you. The material will be displayed via workshops,
installations and a website culminating a grand display of
Cornwall Culture at the Eden Project.
