Forthcoming Postgraduate Fair will give eligible applicants
an interview on the day
University College Falmouth's forthcoming Postgraduate
Fair will give eligible applicants the chance to apply and
be interviewed for the College's postgraduate courses
on the day.
The event which will be held at the Woodlane and Tremough
Campuses on Wednesday 28th June 2006, will showcase the University's
diverse and critically acclaimed postgraduate courses, which
include PgDip Creative Advertising, PgDip/MA Broadcast Journalism,
PgDip/MA Professional Writing, PgDip/MA Television Production,
PgDip/MA 20th Century Art & Design: Histories & Theories,
MA Contemporary Visual Arts, MA Design (Contemporary Crafts,
Garden Design, Interior & Landscape Design, Textile Design
and 3D Design), MA Interactive Art & Design, MA International
Journalism, MA Illustration: Authorial Practice and MA Photography.
Visitors will have the opportunity to meet staff and current
students to find out how University College Falmouth's
postgraduate courses have proven track records in launching
graduate careers in art, design and media, the subject areas
for which the College is internationally renowned.
The University's multi-million pound Design Centre
at Tremough will be open to view, as will its Media Centre
and Learning Resources Centre. Visitors will also have the
opportunity to explore the Woodlane Campus which boasts purpose-built
studios in its sub-tropical gardens.
"Our Postgraduate Fair will be an extremely valuable
resource for prospective postgraduates who wish to find out
why, when it comes to academic provision within the field
of professional creativity, University College Falmouth is
ahead of its game," says Director of Marketing
& Student Recruitment, Jeremy Whitaker. "Prospective
students who are eligible to apply will also be able to receive
an official interview on the day with a view to securing a
place on one of our postgraduate courses. This is a fast-track
opportunity not to be missed."
All courses are recruiting for this October, with the exception
of the College's new MA in International Journalism
which commences in August.
