Lanner - a chance to have your say!
The people of Lanner are being encouraged to attend a community
consultation event to give their ideas about regeneration
proposals for the village. The event will be held at Lanner
Village Hall on Monday 3rd March
from 2.00 pm to 8.00 pm This has been arranged by the
Parish Council with support from the Objective One funded
Tin Country Partnership Community Regeneration Team.
It is hoped that ideas and inspiration from the community
will form the basis of regeneration plans for the village,
thereby shaping the future of the village for the benefit
of all the residents and businesses. This will be done by
placing proposals onto a large-scale model of the village
indicating the type of projects and preferred location.
At the event people will be encouraged to actively participate
in the decision making process by discussing their ideas with
members of the team and representatives from crime prevention,
health and sport. There will also be an opportunity to comment
on any particular issues with they feel need to be addressed,
such as improvements to the Village Hall, Playing Field and
the Historic Churchyards Project amongst others.
