Fifteen Cornwall trainees sourcing trip to the Cornish Pig
Company and recipe competition
The Fifteen Cornwall trainees will be continuing their exploration
of local produce at the Cornish Pig Company, near Truro, over
the course of two days at the beginning of August. As part
of the event, the trainees will be asked to come up with an
original recipe for burgers using pork mince – the students
will make and cook the burgers while at the Cornish Pig Company,
and these will be taste tested by a seasoned panel of experts.
The creator of the winning recipe will receive a prize. The
two days promise to be informative and fun for all participants.
Local media are invited to attend at pre-agreed times in
order to ensure that everyone has ample interview and photography
opportunities.
The Fifteen Cornwall Training and Development Chef Fiona
Were and Support and Personal Development Adviser Jodi Redgrove
will also be available for interview about the progress of
the trainees.
